IMM 5406

Hello,
i just have one question:
Does my sponsor need to fill out IMM 5406(Additional family information)?
In the checklist it says that all family members need to fill it out.
but in the guide it says that it is only the principle applicant who needs to fill it out (which is me)

Only the persons who being sposored

If husband if canadian citizen NO need

Yes, ONLY the Sponsored or Principal Applicant should fill out the form.

I am sponsoring my husband. He is the Principal applicant. So he enters his name. address etc but the line which says spouse does he write my name in it? Or he just writes his name as Applicant and his parents names under Mother (who is deceased) & Father. Thank you.

Got my answer....On all forms to be filled by Principal Applicant he does not need to fill info about Spouse since I am already Canadian Citizenship and not filing for immigration. Thanks

He still needs to list you on IMM5406.

Hi guys. Sorry to bring this thread back to life but all the other threads on this subject are really old.

Anyways, I am a little confused with the above statements. I have applied for Canadian immigration and i was sent the following request.

Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. This must be received at this office by: 2018/01/19

Additional Family Info IMM5406: A separate and newly completed Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) bearing original signatures. This must be received at this office by: 2018/01/19

My situation is that I have applied for immigration. I am the principal applicant and my wife will be travelling with me to Canada. Correct me if I am wrong. I need to fill out 5669 for myself and and my wife will need to fill out form 5406? Or do I need to fill both out?

Would appreciate any help I can get at the moment.

Are you being sponsored by your spouse?

No. But my parents have given me a sum of money as a gift to make my immigration a little easier but I don't think that counts as a sponsor.

None of us have Canadian citizenship.
