Imm 5406 non-accompanying dependant over 18

Hi guys,

I know many questions have been asked about this form but I haven't been able to find an answer to my question. Here's the layout:

I (canadian) am the sponsor
My common-law spouse is the applicant
He has 4 kids who will not be accompanying us
Of the 4, only one is over 18 and under 22 and according to the instructions, he would need to fill out an additional form

My question is, do we simply make a duplicate of the form my husband signs for his son to sign (as in all the info the same) and make a note saying he signed?

I didn't have to do this myself, but I am pretty sure he needs to fill out his OWN copy of the form, not just sign a duplicate copy of your husband's form. The information on the form would be completely different (i.e. where it says parents, the father would be your husband, not your husband's father. Etc...)

That's what I was thinking originally too but he's not the applicant :/ Incredible how confusing a single page form can be lol

Everyone included in the application is an applicant. He has to fill out his own form.
