IMM 1344

Hello,

I am struggling with some of the details on Form IMM 1344, and help from someone with experience would be greatly appreciated!
I am the sponsor (Canadian Citizen)

3. Telephone no.
The fields will not let me enter data. If I select Canada/US or Other, the fields for the number will not show a cursor to enter data.... I have tried downloading a fresh form, no luck.

Would it be a problem to print out the otherwise complete form and I write the phone numbers in by hand?

5. Fax No.

Is it necessary to list a fax number?

I do not have one, should I leave this blank, or try to enter N/A?


Small, but annoying details that are stopping the page from validating

hi i have experience that before but you need to try again and make sure to click the US/canada and mobile, so that you can input your tel. no easily, i think you cannot print if it is incomplete ..and make sure that your filling out the updated form in cic...

no need for fax number...just leave the space empty ..goodluck

I did double check for the most updated form.

Also another weird thing happened. On the form I filled, page four had fields asking for the details of the co-signer. (Which I believe i leave blank)

Then when I downloaded the form, again b/c of the phone problem, the document was 6 pages instead of 7, and the co-signer fields were not there. The forms were otherwise identical. Strange!

I managed to fix the phone number. Thanks! I wish I had asked sooner, this forum is amazing!

But now when I have re-opened to document, it is 7 pages, and the co-signer page is there- I swear I am not making this up.


Do I leave all of the co-signer fields totally blank?

Okay, resolved!

The problem was with my PDF viewer. Once I switched to Adobe everything worked perfectly, and the co-signer field was gone.

Perfect. Hope this is helpful to someone else!
