No, that is not right. If you read the form, it says that the Principal applicant is the person that is being sponsored so that would be your wife. (I am assuming you are sponsoring her) In the instructions of how to fill the forms in, it says again that 1."Give the details of the principle applicant, ie the person you want to sponsor." Question 2 says if the person you are sponsoring (Principal applicant) is your spouse or common law partner, you write not applicable.
