IMM 0008 Question 10?

Hello, is there anyone out there that can help me with question 10 on 0008? My work permit got refused back in August, I was out of status and applied for a visitor extension within the 90 day period. That was a few weeks ago now but still have not heard anything from CIC yet. Anyway I am filling my Spouse PR application now and pretty much finished all the forms, I just have one question that I am a little confused on. My current Country of residence is Canada, even though I am applying outland, but where it says status... What am I now? Am I 'other' and then i write out of status? or do I put implied status as I am just waiting for my visitor visa? or am i just a Foreign National? I dont want to make any mistakes!!!

You did apply for ROS (Restoration of Status) instead of a visitor extension, correct? Since you say that you were out of status, only the ROS would be considered.

Other- Out of Status- Requires Restoration (even though you've applied for ROS).

You would have implied status IF your prior status had not already expired before you submitted the ROS.
