I want to know that I am eligiable for applying PR Under CEC or Not.
I did 2 years post grad diploma in computer networking But as you know its difficult to find job in market therefore I start working in Resturent(Popeyes) as a Cook and now completed more then one year as a Short order cook( which comes under NOC 6322- Cook), My employer is ready to give me letter and want to help me in all possible way as he want me to continue working at his resturent.
My salary is increased 2 times started from 10.25 then 10.50 and now 10.75 and may be it will increase up to 12 from next paystub.
Now my question is that I had a IT Background but my work is as a Cook so will this be ok to apply under CEC Program. How much chances do I have for success.
Please some Experts Help me to Choose Right Path.

There are a number of requirements, including IELTS / CELPIP language test scores.

I cannot comment about your chance for success. But it is perfectly acceptable to work in an occupation that differs from your educational program, so, yes, being a cook is OK.

In addition to the CEC program, if your employer is motivated to keep you, you could also look into the PNP program for your province -

Hi Sam,

Unfortunately only paid work experience is taken into account when applying for PR under CEC, so your volunteer experience doesn't count.

Education does not take part in the Canadian Experience Class. The rules are only interested in what skilled job you have performed with 1 year experience, so yes since your job is NOC B and you have 1.4 years experience you do qualify, I don't see why you won't.
