Hello!
I had my upfront medical exam done in June 2020, and received my study permit in December 2020. I received an email couple of weeks back informing me that my medical exams are due to expire in June 2021 since they are only valid for 1 year and I haven't traveled yet on my study permit.
I reached out to panel physicians (2) in my area, and they informed me that currently due to the pandemic, Canadian Govt. isn't permitting upfront medical exam, and that I need to provide IMM 1017 form AND IME number. I am not sure how to get these. I reached out to IRCC thrice (over a period of 2 weeks), but haven't received any response on the same. I wanted to check if anyone else is facing the same issue? Or if they can guide me on how to move ahead from this.
I am located in India.
