It is a repeated question,...Since I couldn't get a categoric reply of my query, so putting it again for seniors like cuppicino, pippin, Wilson, coolguy, scylia, badr14

In the subject question, 4 jobs that X has done in the past 10 years have been mentioned. First two jobs fall under recent mandatory NOC's, so NOC codes for both of these jobs have been reflected in the corresponding boxes. Last two jobs bear NOC codes that don't fall under the Mandatory NOC stream, hence their NOC's have not been written in the corresponding boxes, though instructions are clear that NOC's have to be written against each job :(

Question is that will such application be rejected, accepted, or holds a 50/50 chance !

as long as you have at least 1year of work experience related to the NOC you are applying with, you are clear with this requirement. even if you have 8 years (example only) of experience of being a clerk (example again - meaning not connected to your NOC)

If the job was of NOC 0 [managerial], A [NOC's starting with 1xxx], B [NOC's starting with 2xxx] then it could have been written in order to gain points for them. As it is not written, they will definitely not award points for that, and if the fields are left blank, then they may return it on the basis of incomplete as NA or N/A should have been written.

It's up to luck.

Dear jizzy,
Those two jobs come under NOC which are not listed in recent mandatory NOC list, hence there is no question of getting any points against them. But as per instructions one is supposed to wrirte all the corresponding NOC irrespective of whether they are or not listed in the mandatory NOC list. Will it fall under incompleteness and app may be returned ???

Hi ,

In my opinion, no one can give you a 100% accurate assessment but the IO.So,to overcome the ambiguity,it is very advisable to re-fill the corresponding form and re-send it to your local office.

Infact,I did the same when I recognized a mistake in my BG information page after sending the application. And,that was accepted without any issue.

All the best!

Doesn't matter if the NOC is in the list or not. They will only check of you have 1 year of continuous or equivalent work experience in the NOC that are currently applicable. Rest of the NOC's will only contribute towards your TOTAL work experience. It can be of the same NOC or it can be any xyz. They will count those years / months towards total experience for points IF the others were under NOC 0, A & B.

Example:

You worked 1.5 years in 2174 = Computer Programmer
You worked 3 years as 2175 = Web Developer

It means you have total experience of 4.5 years INCLUDING 1 year of continuous in 1 of eligible occupations, so you will get 4+ years experience points instead of 1+.

I hope you get it?

Bro it's not for myself. It's for one of my friends who has recently applied under NOC 0211. I don't think he can resend this form to NS. I personally think it is not that fatal a mistake which leads to rejection because of incompleteness of application...as far as the intended NOC's have been reflected. Just wanted to see how you guys look at it.

Dear Forum Members,
I am filling the form. I have a quick query. In some fields I found I have to write my name in my native language. I can't print it. Can I put in handwriting?

thanks for quick reply..In instruction guide I found all papers have to put in a 23 cm x 30.5 cm (9″ x 12″) envelope. Can I fold the documents in there? Including IELTS original copy?

Marginally big envelop won't matter, but avoid folding the docs.
