it's never wrecking for sure, but now that somebody has seen that your file is taking a little too long, hopefully it will move along this week!
And really - you have a very simple case, and no reason to worry about being denied! you have a stable financial situation, you're married, living together, AND coming from a country with a higher living standard than Canada... what CIC is concerned is about people trying to cheat the system to get into Canada looking for a better life... but that's obviously not your case, and you're only here because of your husband - so no need to worry!
