im "in process" since dec18.. its not feb and still nothing!! im sick of waiting and being away from my wife.. i was sure it will come by now.. will they give me any trouble entering canada as a tourist while i wait?

Entrance to Canada is never guaranteed.

What will you say to Customs ? I would think it over before trying to visit even though Israelis dont need a Visa

shouldn't be a issue as you have a valid reason to go to Canada to see your wife

just be honest and say your here to visit your wife..

Good luck and enjoy spending time with your lady

Kevin

Go ahead. Don't tell them you are moving to Canada - just say you are coming for a short visit. A return ticket will help. Also bring proof you have applied for a PR visit, such as the fee receipt and the letter approving the sponsor (if you have it).

I can't blame you. Be honest and make sure to have your return ticket with you. Don't give too much information and don't pack too much. Be prepared to answer how long you will stay and what do you and your spouse do.

Do I remember correctly that you needed an ARC?

he had an exclusion order. It is passed. In theory, he can come to Canada. Im concerned for him. I have seen many turned back since the file is not complete. Please be careful and seek advice from an Immigration lawyer

Oh boy that changes things. I didn't know you were going through additional issues. I hope everything works out for you.

Ok, since you had an exclusion order, it will be harder to get in. Still might work, though. If you do decide to try it, try hard to make it look like it is just a short visit: return ticket with a fixed date, proof of ties to your country, proof you will return.

yea my exclusion order is over. i dont know in the interview they approved me just asked me to pay the right of permanent residance and to send them fingerprints.. but im sick of waiting its so annoying ill try to go to the embassy next week maybe they will give me an answer i dunno what to do .... its not fair

you need to keep busy. Believe me, I know ( 4 years for me and still waiting for my partner )

Your timeline is less than 1 year- really, not so long.

outland. Furthermore, Mexicans cannot come here without a Visa and im too frightened to go to Mexico. We meet in Cuba once a year. $30,000.00 and still fighting. (we were denied but won on Appeal)

Believe me, you have no idea how lucky you should feel ! Hope it helps !
