Hi everyone, I'm here at Victoria BC. and I'm waiting for my medical form. but I have a little problem.. I'm pregnant for 2 weeks. Am I allow to undergo medical examination for my Permanent Resident application? or I'm automatically failed or disqualified and need to go back to my country because I'm pregnant? Or abortion is the answer for my problem if I want to stay and live here in Canada. Thanks..

It's your choice if you want to do the lab tests and physical exam first and the X-ray after you have your baby or if you prefer to have the X-ray done while pregnant, a "protective apron" will be placed over your belly. You won't be disaqualified and you don't need to have an abortion. They will wait for your X-ray before making a final decision.
