Got this email from the embassy now.


Good day,

Please be advised that your passport and visa letter are ready for collection from our office. You may collect these yourself or send a courier...

Do you think that means I got my Visa or it's a letter that says "rejected"? Please help? I'm not sure if I should get excited yet.
 
its ur visa man dont worrry go ahead and collect it .......whats ur time line?
 
It's the 9th week. I was just worried that maybe the letter said something else because why didn't the email say "Visa approved". But yeah, wow I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!

Last time you were so happy after getting a medical call (yes I still remember that :) )

Well visa office won't provide you a straight email with approved/rejected decision. Everything is in your Passport, so wait for that. And also its "extremely rare" to get rejected after having a medical call. I do not even know anyone who got rejected as such.

so I convey my congrats in advance :)

My immigration lawyer says it's definitely a letter of approval that I need to give to Immigration at the airport in exchange for a hard copy Visa.

I'm so happy guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think you will have the visa because i applied for this september 2011 and i got a rejecting
but one the sent me the message they said
that my passport is available and can take it
but they did not mentioned any thing else
so i think you wil have it i hope
 
by the way i forgot to tell you that if the process took 9 weeks and if you had the medical call
the be sure 100% that you have thie visa

Since the letter clearly says "visa letter" along with passport its very obviously an acceptance.. So congrats n all the best :)
