Im in Quebec, how long do I need to wait for CSQ-PR

I am working in Quebec on temp work permit from last few weeks, I would like to know how long do I need to wait before I can apply for CSQ.

Or

Can I apply immediately,

You can apply immediately provided you have valid residence in Canada.

Why dont u check ur eligibilty under the new program (PEQ), programe de l expereince quebecoise, which is a newly fast-tracked program for foreign students and temp workers who currentky live in Quebec. It came in effect on february 14th, 2009 and should take only 1 month maximum for processing provided that you meet elegibilty. If you a temp worker though, I believe you are eligible, However, I advise you to check the website of quebec immigration.

I was in the same situation, i live in montreal with a work permit since last dic 2008 and i did my application last Sept.2009 after a 8 months cuz you can apply afther the 6 months ( thats what they toll me ), and just 1 week ago i received my "call interview" ( actually its a letter ) has been almost 6 months after, but im so excited... now im just preparing myself for the next 8 march 2010 its gonna be the big day lets c what its coming....
