i've just read through the requirements for visiting Canada.. since i got taken into customs last time and had to explain how i met my boyfriend who's a Canadian citizen.. i got approved but i want to make sure i got everything i need since i'm going away for 2,5 months! i have proofs of money, credit cards, job and 2 doctors appointments showing my address.. but a letter of invitation would certainly be essential too..
question is.. and i know this might sound silly but do you think the officer might find it suspicious if i'm saying (once again obviously) that i'm there to visit my boyfriend and then he/she might think i'm intending to stay or should i say i'm visiting friends since "the letter of invitation" says: relationship to the person being invited?
thank you.
