I'm currently living in Canada in a study permit. I'm applying for the Canadian PR, and as part of the application, I'm required to submit a detailed work experience letter. The experience letter I have now only had the work dates, designation. I'm trying to get a detailed experience letter from my previous company in India, and haven't gotten a successful response from them. It is a huge corporation with tons of ridiculous rules and they are asking me to get approvals left and right from not only my managers (I worked in multiple locations) but also the finance team to confirm my salary, hours per week etc. I have been trying to co-ordinate with many people to get one letter, a lot of them are not replying me and dodging my requests. I'm starting to realize that I may never get this letter at all. They are worked up with the current employees and I think they don't really care about my request. I have looked up for alternatives. My payslip used to come in email as an encrypted document and it doesn't open now the document doesn't open after two years saying it has some error or expired (again I have to contact the company for all my payslips). Is there any alternative I can submit to convince the immigration officer?

You can get a letter with all the info signed by your manager or colleague on plain paper and have it notarized. Submit a LOE saying your previous employer is unable to issue this letter and attach as much documentation you can - offer letter, relieving letter, appraisal or promotion letters etc. as for proof of pay, you can attach your prior Form 16s which will show salary paid. Hope this helps. Good luck
