I'm a PR and able to fund my brother to do a master's, can I?

Assuming every other document is fine, does Canada allow someone to sponsor his brother if I have Canadian bank account and sufficient funds? If yes, does he need to provide any additional funding documents?

Yes he can sponsor. However, it just increases the applicant's ties to Canada and he would have to submit more proof that he will return to home country irrespective of being sponsored by brother in Canada.

Thanks bluffmaster88, this makes sense actually. But I know a friend here whose wife applied for visitor visa to visit him while he's studying and she provided everything (bank statement, payslips, company letter, etc) but she still got rejected. Canada cannot be predicted.

The true intention of my brother is to study and further his education because his job is waiting for him back home. So I feel if he provides every document, there is a chance of rejection considering there is conflict in my country
