ILLEGAL IN CANADA(seniors help)

Dear friends..I am a new joinee in this forum. Iam a 2006 applicant from delhi and will be asked to update my documents soon. I was talking to my consultant and he told me that i have to give him all the details of my passport like the dates and days i have been staying in different countries. Then i realised my mistake i stayed in canada for 09 months without extending my visa after six months. Is there any consequences i have to face because of this. It is very urgent seniors help..

why don u discuss this with ur consultant.. he must b in touch with an immigration lawyer.. he can give u better advice..

overstaying illegally is a very wrong impression on canadian authrorities when u wish u immigrate there to be honest its not going to give u any good assestment rest do not be bogged down and wait for exp ppl opinion

We are surprised at your query. You said that you are with a consultant, hasn't he/they given you a proper advice? A consultant is a far better choice at gaining these type of advices, rather us on this forum. We are all here tarcking our cases and/or getting advices ourselves and/or offering some help to others on things we are aware of. But, we are not experts on immigration process/procedures, thus wouldn't be in the know of technicalities. Your best bet is an Immigration Consultant / Lawyer. If your present one is a goon (if you think so) get another asap.

I was there in 2001 and stayed for 8 months,basically i went their on work because iam a travel consultant and stayed their to get inbound tourists to india. But due to business expansion and work was going well does this mistake..i just realised my mistake when i was asked about my travel details...thanks all for ur interest and wish i will succed in getting things done...
