I was unable to understand information regarding points score against language category.

How much points are available against ILETS score.

5 Not acceptable for the main applicant
6 In reading,speaking,Writing,listening = 4 points for each
6.5 In reading,speaking,Writing = 5 points for each, In Listening= 4 Points
7 In reading,speaking,Writing = 6 points for each, In Listening= 4 Points
7.5 In reading,speaking,Writing = 6 points for each, In Listening= 5 Points
8 In reading,speaking,Writing,listening = 6 points for each
8.5 In reading,speaking,Writing,listening = 6 points for each

If you are Principal Applicant you must need 6 bands in each section of IELTS.. so, you can not submit your application to CIC with your below 6 bands result.

is it necessary to have spouse ielts as well. if principal applicant can get qualifying points without spouse IELTs..

Tell me your IELTS Bands Score in each I'll calculate for you. My calculations were as follows:

Listening = 6 Points received = 4
Reading = 7 Points received = 6
Writing = 6.5 Points received = 5
Speaking = 6 Points received = 4
