It covers some registered clinics that can do the exam. And yes it covers a pair of glasses up to 194$ if I recall but only if they are registered in Blue Cross Medavie's system. Here is the link that you can check registered clinics and physicians:

Hello guys, I have a few questions related for IFHP. Shortly, I have IFHP since January 2023, also my 16m old daughter. We are located in Toronto, and I am terribly struggling to find someone ( when I say someone I mean on family doctor/pediatrician) who will check my daughter and start with immunization which we stopped when we left our homeland.
1. How goes the procedure with IFHP, do we need first to find a family doctor for her?
2. If we do, do I have to follow IFHP page for the provider list or I have randomly to go to the clinics and check there if they support this type of insurance?
Thank you

Call the listed physicians specified that accept IFHP to see if they are accepting patients. In general paediatricians no longer treat healthy children. Most children see a GP. If they can’t see a GP then a wall-in clinic is the option if they take IFHP.

I’ve called this morning 7 numbers. Three walk in clinics which don’t accept patients. All other numbers which I’ve called in were directly from the doctors and they stated how they are working in hospitals.
I’ve checked on the IFHPprovider’s list. Anyway thank you for your reply

IF you want your child's immunizations up to date then call the local health unit. Immunizations are done and tracked through the health unit. Usually, the health unit will have times throughout the year to get kids immunized.

Most of the clinics closed because of Covid. Some may have reopened but due to a shortage of nurses many may not reopen for quite a while.
