No but if US immigration believes that you have moved to Canada permanently, they will cancel your US PR. Signs they might look at to determine that you have moved away permanently include being away from the US for more than a year, not filing taxes in the US etc.
Several years ago, I knew some people who were keeping a US PR active by going to the US every 6 months and it was working for them. I don't know if they are watching that more closely now.
