Nice, I just emailed my MP again. I'm not holding out for much though.MP's office replied immediately and asked me to send consent forms which I did. Wait until after Thanksgiving...
Somewhat agreed - But the COVID situation should effect everyone equally. Whereas many who even applied after us have their Passports in hand whereas we don't have even a decision made status or in some cases no test invite.!!Guys, don't freak out. I think I waited 7-8 months before I got movement in my account. I figured it was due to the COVID situation. I was less worried because I had a friend at work who waited 8 months.
2022 paper applicants are consistently getting oath in 3-6 months. I think a variety of us but especially the severely delayed 2020 and 2019 applicants should all go to the press to better publicize the unfair LIFO processing method. I can understand COVID delays, but they should affect everyone equally indeed, like 18 or 20 month processing time for everyone, not 3 months for 2022 paper applicants and 3+ years for 2019 applicants.Somewhat agreed - But the COVID situation should effect everyone equally. Once you raise ATIP, an officer is allocated to work on compiling the request which might trigger someone to look at the application. I am pretty sure once application is transferred to a processing office it gets printed which the officer used to carry during pre-covid test/interviews. God knows what they do with those paper inventory now. It is very hard to decode their pattern for paper vs online or paper family vs paper single not just from this forum but also from FB, there seem to be no consistency over one location to another. I doubt all paper applicants are moving that quick except few outliers. Also noticed on the FB forum that some online applicants getting done in 6 months but there is always misinformation posted on forums. I think NS works within certain timelines be it paper or urgent processing , just those local offices are culprits and might again be the provincial/area citizenship target numbers for quarter/year who knows.I applied for GCMS notes on Oct-10-2022, yesterday got an email asking for more evidence related to my citizenship application.
Not sure if the evidence request was triggered from the GCMS request.
But if your file is stagnated for 6+ months I would advice you request GCMS notes.
