Passing medical is just a step in the process. So your study permit can be still be refused.

A medical examination and passing is a prerequisite for visa processing and for moving forward with the application. I think the final decision will still consider many other requirements of the application, apart from medicals. Lets hope for the best.

see this person got resusal before med update. so pre-req definitly but if it says pass means file has def. moved forward

Please don't make yourself confuse its totally not confirmed that you will get study permit if your medicals get updated

for non sds application if you don't submit the upfront medical, call for medical only comes after the rest of your application is clear (chances of visa are high). for all applications with upfront medical medical confirmation doesn't confirm anything

Ofcourse, the application would have passed to the next stage, yet I think we need to wait for further updates.
after that there is no update. then only decision comes. anyways u are correct. can go either way. just that after waiting 5 months any small thing gives people like me hope
