If I incorporate a business in Canada from abroad, Can I get Work Permit?

Hi, I am currently a non Canadian citizen with out a work permit visa. So If i want to move to Canada, Can I incorporate a company from offshore and move to Canada, with work permit? Will this be allowed? How can we be able to do this?

Nope - won't be allowed. CIC will classify this as creating a company for the sole purpose of securing a work permit in Canada. If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it.

If you want a work permit in Canada you'll have to find a real and established Canadian company that is willing to give you a job offer and that can also obtain an approved LMO (i.e. prove their are no Canadians available to fill the role).

To get a work permit, a company must get a LMO for the foreign worker.

One of the criteria's for getting that LMO, is the company must have been in business for at least one year, supply one years trading accounts AND have employed at least one full time Canadian employee.
