Hello,
I was deported from USA twice can I visit canada on a tourist visa?
Reason for being deported the first time was because I was an illegal alien living in USA and posibly having a gang afiliation when I was 18 years old ( not proud of my past trust me.) I have no criminal record like I have no charges no felonies nothing like that. Although I think just the fact that I was illegal is considered a felony I don't know anyway got a 10 year deportation punishment from judge . .. Second time I was deported was for a traffic ticket I received and failed to appear in court so a warrant was issued. Warrant finally caught up to me got arrested and deported judge gave me another 10 years punishment. I was 21 years old. I've been living in Mexico ever since I am now 33 years old and have no criminal record in Mexico. Can I visit Canada?

So you've been deported twice from the United States?

You will need to apply for an eTA to Canada. Be aware that the application asks you about visa refusals and being ordered to leave countries - do not lie. It also asks you to identify if you have ever committed a crime, been charged or convicted with a crime. Be honest about that too. Canada will compare your application with data on your time in the United States. If you lie, you will be banned from Canada.

If you are denied the eTA you will know your answer.
