Hello everyone.
greetings.

i got a job offer last year from an employer and subsequently came to Canada on worker visa in march 2019 and have been working in B.C. ever since as worker. now i am planing on going back to my own country (India) on vacations for some days but my employer instructed me that i'll have to resume working as soon as the vacations are over. i wanted to ask you guys that if i can leave and come back to Canada without having a new visa (i have a worker visa approved for two years, till 2021) and could you please tell me what documents i should have at the time of entry so that i won't be denied entry by immigration officer on my way back to Canada. i should also mention that on my visa, in the "number of entries" section, "multiple" is written. i am anxious about this matter because a friend of mine told me that i'll be needing electronic travel authorization (eTA) and a temporary resident visa at time of entry on my way back to Canada else i will be denied entry. also please shed some light as to what is a temporary resident visa and when is it needed.

Thanks for your attention. I’m looking forward to your replies.

You are fine, your friend is wrong.

You can't get an eTA and a TRV (unless you're from Brazil.) Passports which require visas are not eligible for eTAs.

thanks a lot for the reply. as i was browsing more to know about this, i found an article on cic.gc.ca , its complete link is as follows--https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/iec/prepare-arrival.html . in this article the following info is there-
Leaving and returning to Canada
If you leave Canada while your work permit is still valid and return to continue working, the border services officer will re-assess your admissibility each time you enter Canada. could you please tell that how would the officer re-access my admissibility and what document must i carry at that time of re-entry?
