Do they accept TOEFL in place of IELTS.?

speaking of ielts.. i have a problem with that. I already got my file number/registration number or whatever it is called (haha) so my 120 days has already started since jan 9, 2010. My problem is that, my ielts was taken july4, 2009... i was told that in immigration it is valid for 1 year only. If i will be submitting my documents in march (1st or 2nd week), do i have to take it again or just submit the ielts result dated july 4, 2010? pls help\. i don't want to take the exam because of the money and time that will be wasted...thanks you soo much

It has to be within 1 year of submitting your application to CIO Sydney. so you are fine.

the office recommends General, but if u have taken the academic, they will assess it as well but may assess at the same level as general, cause academic ILETS is harder than the general in terms of writing and reading only while listening and speaking are the same.

Yes as they less than a year old when you applied to Nova Scotia
