I would like to say that it depends on your other points, suppose your age is under 49 and your wife is post
graduate and you relative in Canada then i think 4 bands will be o.k .On the other hand ,i would like to say that there is 100 marks and you need 67 mark to migrate Canada.
Thanks

I would say you need to do better, as CIC is now keen on the offical languages.

Are you applying under the federal skilled worker program or CEC? What is the skill level of your job?

hi senorita bella, We are planning to apply as immigrant visa, my skill level is accepted in self assessment thru cic website. actually we would like to try to migrate in canada eventhough we don't have relatives in there but I have few friends working CANADA. and I have all the necessary requirements in cic except the IELTS the report that I have. the reason why I inquire here is to know if there is any other way that my IELTS result will be accept in my application in canada?

Hi Nicholas30 and Optimisticperson. Thanks for the advice.

I understand but there are several programs available to immigrate to Canada. You can apply for an immigrant visa but under which stream? As a federal skilled worker? Quebec skilled worker? Provincial nominee program? etc Without knowing which stream you are applying under, no one can really say whether your IELTS score meets the requirement.

R-4.5 = CLB 5
L-5.0 = CLB 5
W-5.5 = CLB 6
S-6.5 = CLB 8

Your score will qualify you for jobs at skill level B but not for jobs at skill level A or skill type O. If you don't mind sharing what you currently do, we can better assist you.

If your main duties and responsibilities are consistent with NOC 3215(Medical radiation technologists), then it is skill level B and your IELTS score is good. See this: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/Profile.aspx?val=3&val1=3215

Hi SenoritaBella,Am currently working as Medical Radiation Tachnologist.

Start by visiting this page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp - read about the various categories and see which one you qualify for.

Yes, you can since it qualifies for skill level B and your NOC.
