IELTS validity for May'2011 applicanst !!

I had applied in May'2011 and now its more than one year with myself at "in process" stage as per my ecase. Can VO ask me to submit a fresh ielts band or the old one would do. As per my understanding ielts validity used to be one year when i applied and now it has been changes to two years.Pls clarify

EFFECTIVE December 23, 2010: If you are submitting a language test with your application, the results are now valid for 2 years from the time you took the test, instead of 1 year. This change applies to Federal skilled worker, Canadian Experience Class and Business Class Immigrants (investors, entrepreneurs and self-employed people).
