IELTS Validity Expiry

Hi Guys,

My IELTS will expire on August 14 2017. I got my ITA on 24th March 2017 and will be submitting my eAPR by 20th June. Now because my wife is pregnant, her X Ray will be done only by September 2017. I have 2 questions.

1. Does this mean I will receive AOR only in September after i submit my wife's X Ray instead of June?
2. Even though my eAPR is submitted in June, and if i receive my AOR in September, is it ok that my IELTS is expiring in August? Does the IELTS need to be valid till the eAPR date of the AOR date?

2. IELTS needs to be valid at the time of eAPR and AOR. You would need to retake the test if you are waiting until delivery. Make sure your scores dont change as to fall below the cut off. Remember to add extra funds for the new baby.

Your wife seems to have crossed the 3 month mark. You can do an xray with an apron and it is safe. You can submit eAPR earlier and use the same test scores

So if I decide to wait till September for the X Ray, even though my eAPR is submitted, my application will be rejected because by then my IELTS score would expired?

Also, if I do decide to get the X ray done by June, does the IELTS need to be valid for the entire 6 month processing time or only till the AOR?

your IELTS has to be valid at the time of eAPR. You cant submit eAPR unless you have your wifes complete medical. If the IELTS expires after submitting eAPR, its fine.

Thanks, but I think I can SUBMIT my eAPR and get the medicals done too for my wife. Just the X Ray will be pending which the Medical center said they will inform CIC. Now even after i submitted my eAPR, my application will be on hold until September and post the X Ray i get the final AOR.

So if my confusion is that, does the validity need to hold till the eAPR or till the final AOR?

I'm in the same situation and was wondering if you could throw some light on how did your process go? Did you have to retake the IELTS since your score expired before your AOR?
