IELTS test taking from USA - Information needed

I am planning on taking IELTS General test from USA in couple months. This is the first time I am looking at this test information and would like to know if this test can be taken online instead oftaking from test center due to COVID situation. Also I see there very few test centers available in US from my search.
Any information and help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi. I think online language tests are not valid for immigration purpose. Thanks.
