Hmmm, check your Bank if your Draft was cashed or not. IF not then it "MIGHT" be already too late.
Prepare for new docs, application etc. JUST IN CASE it come back, so you should be ready in a day or two.

Also call or email CIO, they will be in a position to inform you about status. As its been more than 8 weeks.

Please also put in efforts to compile another set of documents. Your NOC is fast approaching the cap.

Email will not be answered..you will be waiting in vain. Checking with the Bank will probably give you concrete answer.

The problem is that NO additional docs would be accepted by CIO. It has to go as a FRESH application to qualify as a complete package. CIO wil not devote time to find out application from the heap of applications....its like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

If you have another set of documents ready including IELTS and reference letters then send off another package with a cover note referring to the earlier package.

@ Wendy- CIC will not give out information to relative unless he is an authorised representative of the applicant.

thnks for yr detaild reply.but actually i cant arrange new application package.as i have to apply for university transcripts and it wll take atleast 1 week.and i already sent my original ilets result.m residing here in dubai while m from pakistan.the only way for me to ask my relative(sister in law)to pay fee on my behalf with covering letter.is there any minor chance for my application to be accepted????

Try to call CIO, that, way you can get an immediate reply. Keep all your details at hand, like Date of Birth, Name, Family name, adress etc.

You need to call at 16139444000 and then select options in this sequence 1...2...1...2....1

You would be placed in queue and after 5-10 minutes, your call would be attended by someone. The person would ask for client id. Since you don't have it, provide your name and DoB and then ask for your status & client id. I dont know the email id and secondly email will take weeksss to get any response so best option is to ring them.

Dear All Seniors....

There is some mistake in my National ID card...There is no family name attached with my name. So it ll take 20 days to modify my full name in National ID card.
I have registeres my self for IELTS for 17 Nov , but IELTS management told me that we could not mention ur family name in the box of family name in the IELTS Test Result Paper.
Even i told them i could show u another documents for my family name..but they never accept. I donot have time to wait for modification becoz CAP is running fast.

my question is that if i submit the IELTS test result certificate with all other documents to CIO without my family name then it ll creat issue before visa officer or not????Means family name box is important or not....

plz suggest me asap

@ Gulshan,
No one can tell you for sure what the response from CIO officer will be. You have 2 options:

Withdraw previous IELTS fee and re-submit with proper Name.

Second, like the above poster gave you good advice to include detailed cover letter and copies of old and new IDs. Also try to get a Letter or something from NADRA, that shows you got the ID fixed or something.

Hmm thats not a good news. Mitali's advice is good. Prepare new one and be ready to send it ASAP.

i need yr suggestion
i have sent to cio dd with title citizenship and immigration canada whi ch is wrong. i was suppose to write receiver genral for canada..

the mistake was done by bank officer

now what should i do ....
should i wait for cic reply
it will cause my non acceptance
should i make another dd
or my realtive in canada should fill the fee payment and pay on my behalf with covering letter....
plz guide me my noc is 3131 which is 320 now

My friend is also in the same situation as you. same thing " Citizenship and Immigration Canada" was written on his draft, he called CIC to inform them of this and the call center agent told him that there is nothing he can do other than to wait for CIO to respond to his application.
