IELTS Score

Hi Guys,

I see on the CIC website, the minimum score required is CLB 7 which is 6 in all the catagories in IELTS. I have got 7 in 3 catagories and 5.5 in one of the catagory and the overall score shows as 7.

Is it fine to use this result or i need to appear for the IELTS again. Please suggest

Thanks,
Parvinder

If it shows that you need 6 in all categories, then you need 6 in all categories and not 5.5
Makes sense, doesn't it?

Re-do your IELTS.

This is crazy.
The requirements say you need minimum of 6 in all categories. You do not have a minimum of 6. So, you need to reappear.

Why is this concept so difficult for people?

Because people hold on to the 'overall score' myth, that counts for some other immigration stream - or counted for some other stream. :-\
