Hi Friends

i have one Question

my application is received on Aug 15 for CEC ....The IELTS score i submitted was :CLB ...7 ,6, 6, 8 NOC A

but i just notice that my Score should be CLB ..7,7,6,8 for NOC A

what should i do now ,,will CIO will ask me to submit a new IELTS , ? or they will return my application as incomplete ?

it was L 6.5 , R, 5.0 W 5.5 S 7.5 = CLB = 7 ,6, 6, 8

m going to retake test on sep 22,,,but m not sure they will return back as incomplete or they can ask 4 retake exam , i dont know CIO take decision on IELTS and NOC or CCP-O ?

Well, you may be lucky in that you are able to take the test and submit the results before they begin processing your application.

◦5 or higher for each of those abilities, or
◦4 for any one of those abilities, 5 or higher for any other two of those abilities and 6 or higher for the remaining ability.

Your score is CLB 5, 7, 5, 7 and meets the first criteria(in red), so it's good for skill level B under the current CEC criteria. But I don't know whether the score is good for new skilled worker or CEC criteria, so please check and confirm that. Consider posting your question in the skilled worker section.

thanks for information as I've never read information for Canadian Experience Class program. And I really hope that CIC will range the Ielts result for new FSWC criteria according to the NOC 0,A,B as they have now in Canadian Experience Class.

HI! PLEASE help me on my results.. I need to re-apply and I had this 2nd test taken.. I don't know where to find the CLB equivalent. The one I sent with my application before was higher but I'm hoping this one is still good coz it expires April 2013. I am on a SKILLED 6311(NOC CODE) Food service supervisor.

LISTENING = 6.5 - CLB level 7 (no 6.5 in table for listening, so round down to 6.0 which corresponds to CLB level 7)
READING = 6.5 - CLB level 8
WRITING =6 - CLB level 7
SPEAKING = 7 - CLB level 8 (highest score needed to get CLB level 8 in speaking is 6.5 and yours is higher)

NOC 6311 is skill level B.
