According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG74.asp you get listening 2 points, reading 2 points, writing 4 points, speaking 4 points, total 12 points.

Thank you Leon, but I am just confused with this "FIRST & 2nd Language", stated that if English is your first language that I think they will give you 4 points for band 7-9 but if english is your 2nd language even if you get 7.0 band still you will be awarded for 2 points. You have any any idea?

You can claim points for both English and French. If you know both, you should decide one of them as first language and the other as second language. That information helps you to know how many points you will get if you apply with English as your first language, and French as your second language or vice versa.

So you mean that FIRST and SECOND applies, if I want to claim both ENGLISH and FRENCH proficiency, that's the time I need to decide if what is my first and 2nd language.

But it doesnt mean that if ENGLISH is not my native tongue then it will consider automatically that ENGLISH is the 2nd language.

In the case that I will ONLY claim for ENGLISH proficiency, that would mean ENGLISH is my first language, as the application is concern Right? :)

Thank in advance for the responses. I really appreciate it.

Yes, whichever is your better language, English or French would be your "first" on the application even if it's not your first language in real life and the other would be 2nd. Kind of confusing I know :)
