IELTS score vs CLB level for CEC

Hi,

I am in a need of urgent advise. I want to apply under CEC (NOC A - 2175), I had everything except IELTS score which I received today as below:

Overall: 7

L: 7.5 ( CLB 8 )
R: 5.5 ( CLB 6 )
w: 6.5 ( CLB 8 )
s: 8.0 ( CLB 10 )

I saw that CLB 7 is required to be eligible for the application. Also, I read in few threads that it allows lower that CLB 7 in one section if I have 2 CLB 8 and 1 CLB 7 on other.

I am confused about my situation. I don't have enough time as my visa will be expired if I retake the exam.
What should I do in this condition?

Please suggest.

As far as i recollect you need atleast a 6 in each category...

For that Noc you need to re-take the exam, sorry, reading is not good enough.

Sorry to say but you have to retake the exam. If you apply with these grades you are facing a risk of rejection, for sure.

That's again a big risk. Based on experiences from other forum members, CIC will only accept your IELTS scores submitted with the application. Seniors might add to it.

This was the case untill last year when person was eligible if having 1 CLB 6 but 2 CLB 8 & 1 CLB 7. But this year ownwards they clearly mentioned to have min CLB 7 in all 4 categories, so you need to retake the exam.

you will get aor since they do not look at your score in the initial assessment but your application will be refuse at the eligibility stage.
