ielts score for cec

Dear all,

Its already 11 month I am working full time paid at UBC Vancouver.
Planning to apply next month for CEC, where my 1 year is going to complete.

I have taken IELTS and scored listening 5, reading 8, writing 8 and speaking 7.
I took two time IELTS and my listening not improved.

Could you please, let me know that , CIC is going to refuse my application or not?
Me 33 year old with PhD degree and 10 year work experience on same direction.

You'll need to write IELTS again. You need to score at least 6 in each category otherwise your CEC application is going to be refused.

Must improve your listening to a "6" since it's the minimum score allowed for each category - applying with anyone score under "6" would result in automatic rejection despite your educational background and expertise
