Hello,

This might be the one of the FAQ in the forum but im not able to find any concrete answers.

I have a good score in all sections but didnt get enough cic points. Thinking of doing IELTS again and ace in listening.

Can i give one score from new test and other scores from old test ?

No, you can not combine scores from 2 different IELTS tests.

Ideally, a score of 8777 that corresponds to Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Does it mean I can't submit with scores of 6,6,6.5,6 in listening, reading, speaking and writing.

Does it mean if I submit my ielts with these results I wouldn't get any points?

You can apply with the scores you have now. But your points will be low.

Use CIC's online points calculator to determine how many points you have. You can find the points calculator here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Another option would be to hire an immigration lawyer or consultant to help you if you're uncomfortable doing this on your own.

I am a little confused with the Section of work experience outside Canada. I can see CLB 7 and more.
