Hi,

Please help me.

When I look at the matrix given for calculating IELTS score, I can see that someone who gets band 7 gets an average of 16 points for each skills, so overall the primary applicant gets 64 points in the Core Human Factors section.

But, when I use the CRS calculator that is given on CIC website and record band 7 for each proficiency, it gives me 96 points. I am really confused as this is the game changer for me.

Thanks in advance

There is a difference between Band 7 on IELTS and CLB Level 7.

Check this conversion calculator to understand this further (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp).

Thanks for your note.

Does the CRS calculator on cic website for express entry require to feed in CLB score?

Thanks

In the CIC calculator, you are asked to choose the Language test that you've taken before its asks to input the score. If you've done IELTS then choose IELTS when asked and input the band scores as they appear on your TRF.

Hi have applied for EE but received below message.

Dear
Express Entry Profile:
You are not eligible for Express Entry
To qualify for Express Entry, you must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the Federal Skilled Worker
Program, and/or the Federal Skilled Trades Program and/or the Canadian Experience Class. Based on your
profile, you do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria for any of these programs. Reasons you would not be
eligible for Express Entry include:
• not having a valid language test
• language test results that are more than two years old
• a language test score that is too low
• not having enough relevant work experience
• not having the required education level
• not having enough funds

Please help on what i have missed.
Enough score i have for IELTS - 7,6.5,7,7.5
Test result is of current year only
have relavant work experience in 2172 category. Has more than a year experience in 3 companies.
Education is B.E.
funds mentioned is CAD$11000 (single).

You mentioned the funding wrong.

For single person, the minimum requirement is CAD $11931 and not CAD $11000.

Update that.

Hi Karen,
thanks for reply. actually i have written the exact amount which you told. What could be other reason for ineligiblility. Please help.
I am creating new profile currently.

Check if you met the FSW criteria of 67 points...

Your work experience is just around 1 year...?? Possibly this could be a reason.

Hello,

Try to put the money as CAD $12000 or $12050.

And can you elaborate a bit on your work experience.

Is it full time? And what are exact number of months you work as of now which can be counted under experience.

Further is this post BE work experience?

Also what's your WES evaluation?
