Guys,

Need some inputs. My IELTS score expires on 14th March 2021. But, I am about to complete my 1 year of CEC soon, post which I should get an ITA easily as my overall score will shoot to 479. Considering that the IELTS score will expire soon, what should I do? Should I accept the ITA if it comes before my IELTS score expires? Or should I decline it, give my IELTS again and then apply? You inputs are much appreciated.
Thanks.

Your IELTS scores need to be valid until AOR and not just ITA. If you think you'll be able to submit your files before your IELTS expires and get an AOR before that, you can go ahead. Incase, the timelines are too tight, you can schedule a new test.

Thanks for your response. But, my query is more like..what should I do with the ITA if it comes? Should I accept it and appear for IELTS again or should I reject the ITA and submit my profile again in EE pool after getting my new IELTS result?

You can accept it. You'll have 60 or 90 days to submit your case post ITA. That time should be sufficient to attempt an another IELTS test and submit it along with the rest of the case submission. However, i would suggest that given the tight timelines that you're operating under, it is better to enroll for the test right now and update your scores at the earliest to continue with the same profile. Your profile would expire the moment the IELTS expires and you'll be out of the pool. You'll have to create a new profile if that happens.
