Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me with the situation. I had taken IELTS Academic back in Dubai in Sep2010, to come to Canada for studies. Now i have completed my diploma, started working for my employer. Got my BC PNP approved, now i have to file my PR. Do i need to take the General IELTS again or I can submit the Academic one which i took in Dubai.

And if Academic is acceptable should i send the original or a colored copy to them.

Anyones prompt response shall be much appreciated,

My time line is as below:
Application received by the BC PNP office: April 3rd 2012
AOR: 18th April
Phone Interview: Employer and Employee both on 8th May 2012
BC BNP Approval received: 24th May 2012

Regards,

@rashminder,

I think that you are in category B have the opportunity to get the PNP.
You have to work 9 months in BC and in the profession.

Unfortunately, I could attach a link.
No idea why? I think I'm a new forum member Therefore, I can not add link.
But looking into Google, type in BC PNP
There you will find what you are looking for.

Thanks Manu, i confirmed with BC PNP Advisor, she says Academic is fine as well.

Regarding rashminders questoion, you should be fine. My employer really showed an urgency because they really needed me to start the job plus fly to few places for business purposes. BC PNP is an easy process if applied correctly and well organized. I made sure every document was crystal clear and even the details in it.

The will call you and the employer for an interview, make sure you both are on the same page. Don't confuse the Advisor by giving irrelavant information. Their main purpose is qualify you as economically good for a province, so make sure you convince them.

All the best,

Hello, may I ask you if you considered any other provinces' nominee programs? All the people that I know here have started their way to applying for PR through Saskatchewan, but I think that BC PNP is better, because you don't need experience to apply through International graduate stream. And I just wanted to hear some feed backs about BC PNP, just in general is there any rumours that its a difficult program or something like this? I am just wandering why all of them are gone to Sask... they say that it is just faster and easier, but it doesn't sound to me like an objective argument.
So, what is your impression about BCPNP? =)
Thanks for sharing!
