IELTS result expired 2 months after applying for PNP (SINP)

Hello guys,

I applied for SINP (Post-Graduate category) on March 18, 2013 with an IELTS test result that was due to expire by May 7, 2013. Just got nominated on August 30, 2013 and realized that CIC PR checklist specified submission of a valid IELTS test result. Do I have to take a new test before submitting my application or should I go ahead to submit it with the same test result that I used to apply for the SINP?
 
Hi, I just have a question. I hope you can answer me. I applied for SINP( Student) May 2013. Did you include your birth certificate with your application? Is it necessary for SINP? I sent my Transfer Certificate from my College as it has my date of birth and my Dad's signature. I know its important for Federal. Please share your experience. Thanks!

as far as my understanding goes and OP says YES, you will need to give IELTS... if your application would have reached CIC before or on May 7, 2013 then you would have been fine but now you will need to give IELTS.

P.S.: Register early as it is hard to get dates.

Are you working in a skilled level job - NOC O, A or B?

Hello dbss,

Thanks for the feedback. I already registered for another IELTS just to avoid unnecessary delays. The test is scheduled for October 12, 2013 and I hope to apply to CIO Nova Scotia as soon as I get the result.

Hi Jadon ,

Did the nova scotia attached their certificste with that new IELTS result. What is the IELTS score is less then the previous zIelts score did they still attached the certificate
