IELTS Result along with Application???

Hello,

Is it mandatory to send the IELTS results along with the application form? The check list doesn't really say whether it is mandatory or not.

I am planning to send my application around mid-july. But, i don't fine time slot in the exam centers. Also, I understand that , it takes 3 weeks to get the results.


Did Anybody send the IELTS results later after submitting the application? Please suggest. Thanks, IMMI_123

As per the application guide, it says you should send IELTS results in order to process your application,guess after they changed to consider IELTS results for 2 years they expect applicants to send it along application, so yes it is mandatory, however it is not mentioned your application will be returned but I don't see any point in sending an application without IELTS results when they say something like that.See below from application guide

Language knowledge requirement

Each applicant must demonstrate that they meet the minimum language requirements according to their occupational skill level by providing evidence of their abilities in English or French (speaking, reading, listening and writing).

All applications must be accompanied by the results of the principal applicant’s English or French language proficiency assessment in order to be considered for processing.

Note. Language test results must not be older than two years at the time of application.

I fully agree. Sending the IELTS results along with application form is MANDATORY. It is one of the basic criteria on which, the application is evaluated.

Out of the check list, the only optional item is the Police Clearance Certificate which can either be submitted along with the application or whenever it is called for (at a later date).
