IELTS requirements by Canadian Embassy under SPP?

I am still looking for it has anybody got canada visa with IELTS score for overall 6.5 with minimum of 5.5 for postgraduate studies under SPP for 2010 intake??

buddy i guess overall 6.5 and individual band no less than 6.0 are required for posgraduate programme.Moreover, when it comes to PG courses the college and embassy's requirements differ so becomes hard to tell what is being accepted by embassy and what is not!
Also,Know some people awaiting outcome, who have overall 6.5 band but individual 5.5 and applied in the embassy..!

Buddy Have you applied already or waiting to know if someone going for PG programme with 5.5 band gets visa or not ? if you ain't applied yet buddy you must apply now bcoz embassy is already taking hell lot of time even under spp (some guys been waiting for the outcome for more than 40-45 days now) though there is some risk involved but the risk is gonna be always there..Nobody can have the 100% chances of getting the visa.

I shall update you guys ASAP with whatsoever new info i get..

I hav not applied yet I was just wating for the loan approval frm my bank (the took whole month) 2moro I wil get approval and on 20th or 21st I will submit my file by the way hav ur any known person with minimum 5.5 in any module got reply for PG course??

Oh ! so you gonna apply in a couple of days. you better hurry buddy. I am quite amazed to know that it took you 1 month to get loan. I got mine done (paid fees n everything ) in just 3 days. I guess you must be availing loan against property..aren't you ? none of the people i knw hv heard frm embassy yet but I've come to know that Overall 6.5 and individual 5.5 band are acceptable to embassy (another friend of mine said hez confirmed from a CSIC certified rep )...lets c hw it goes..

yup I am applying for educational loan on the property and it has few obstacles which I have cleared so finaly I am getting the loan. About the IELTS nice to hear from that Embassy is accepting this score. But I hv seen few people are getting reply in just a week. By the way when did u apply , Which program and college ur goin to.

my 3 friends got visa with 6 overall ielts bands in pg certificate
the two have 5 in one module and 5.5 in two modules and 7.5 in listening
and the other one have 6 overall having 5.5 in two modules.
but i got rejected
my ielts score is
6 overall
5 in reading, 6 s, 6 w, 6.5 l
visa depends on luck or on the mood of visa officer.
u will agree with me after reading this .

After all good news for me I can think positive now. but I am so sorry to hear about your case may be there is something more better for you in store than those who got visa, Cheer up try again for masters degree. But can u confirm that ur friends got visa for Sept 2010 or earlier intaks because CHC is more strict now.
