IELTS req. for May 2013

for new applicant starting may 2013 under FSW1

I understand we have to have min. 6 for each category for IELS exam, also:
spake=6, Listen=6, Read=6, write=6 all equal for 4 points
spake=6.5, Listen=7.5, Read=6.5, write=6.5 all equal for 5 points
spake=7, Listen=8, Read=7, write=7 all equal for 6 points

now my question is how much we have to get for each category to reach all 24 points for our first official language ability?

Hello i am Keyur and i am planning to submit my FSWP application this may and i have given IELTS and i have score total of 6.5 but in writing i have onnly 5.5 band so this affect by point score and also to my application.

Give some advise urgently shall i give exam again or this score will suffice.

Writing 7.0
Speaking 7.0
Listening 8.0

You need to re-take the exam as CIC only accepts IELTS General Training.

So, essentially, the listening component - the shortest of all the sections (30min - half the length of the other sections) - is the most important of all sections to do really well in?

Hi...To get the 4 points per ability i know the clb should be 7 , we they look at the clb total which should be 7 or they get to look at each ability alone ?
