IELTS or PTE CORE?

Hello everyone! I'm exploring immigration to Canada based on CRS score. I've heard that PTE CORE is set to be introduced by the end of this year, and it's supposedly easier than IELTS. I've taken IELTS before with scores L:8, S:8, W:6.5, and R:6.5. I'm aiming for at least 8, 7, 7, 7. Any recommendations?

Absolutely, PTE-core is pretty easier than IELTS or CELPIP, I got CLB 9, 9, 10, 10 with PTE-core, but CLB 6, 6, 7, 7 in IELTS.

Anyone here recently has get visa approved for PTE core exam ? My Canadian consultant said there is a risk sometimes visa officer doesn't take PTE as a valid English proficiency test. so confused now !!!
