Hi There,

I am planning to give ielts again for marks improvement. I wanted to ask if in case I score less than my last attempt then which score will be considered? The new one or the older? And secondly, I have come to know that from the past 5 attempts, cic people choose your highest marks in Ielts. Is it correct? Please help.

Thanks,
Gurmeet Kaur

Lol, they only consider what you tell em to consider. No matter how many attempts you take, you can upload your best and it shouldn't be older than 2 years.

Well, a
Its upto you :)
The one you like to to put in your EE Profile. Moreover, you will be using the TRF of your choice. So doesn't really matters.

You should only re attempt IELTS if you are fully prepared else logically if you retake IELTS immediately after your previous result, you will tend to score less :) Personal observation

Hi,

Thanks for the reply but will it not show in the system to them that we have given exam twice or thrice on the same passport number? I actually just want to double confirm if that will not cause any issue. My ielts score is 7. Marks in reading was 6, in speaking it was 6.5 nd writing was 7 and listening was 7.5.

Inne develop nAhi hoye aje Canada vaale ki Sara kuch track kar den. U r safe. Take IELTS everyday, they won't bother.
