IELTS March 25th 2017 ( today) - experience?

Hey guys,

I have just completed my test today.I guess I did better that my first attempt.But,I stumbled during listening test especially at section 3.I hoping for CLB9..Who knows??Can't wait till the result day.If I not getting CLB9 this time I will book another test on same day..how was your test experience guys?

This is my second attempt

Previous score:
LRWS : 8.5,7,7,6

Applied for PEI PNP a month Bach but no response yet..Only hope is CLB9 which gives me CRS 428. :'(

I had the test today as well!
Listening was unexpectedly difficult this time... For me the first section was the most challenging The rest was more or less ok. But I dont think I will get 8.5 this time Reading was quite simple though.. Writing topics were also pretty much standard.

materials for todays test? Nope, I can just share the writing topics.
As for the IELTS prep materials, I bought 3 books of Cambridge tests and practiced those.

letter: ur computer is broken. u brought it to a local shop to repair, but is unhappy with the result. Write a letter to a manager and explain: what happened to your computer, why you are unhappy, what do u want the manager to do.

essay: some people prefer to earn more money and have less free time, while others prefer to have more free time and less money. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion

Writing test task 2: Some people agree that government spends more on saving wildlife rather than other areas.

Hi, I also took my IELTS test today in Lagos, Nigeria. This was the exact question for task 2 while task 1 was about a letter to a friend staying at your apartment while you are away.

I would like to know if you had the same Listening Test. I got a bit distracted in question 21 and 24

21. I think it was about a Student Learning Center and the options was A) Open to students and members of the public
B) Students with student cards

24. Information about workshop is released A) Monthly newsletter
B) e-mail weekly
C) website

From the above comments it seems IDP & BC have different question papers

Mine was IDP, Delhi:
Letter-providing info to Friend for ur home stay while u r out on holiday
Essay-people criticising govt. spending on wildlife

IDP Essay Question seems easy compared to BC essay topic shared by @Lailina
@Lailina: I am impressed to see your 2015 IELTS scores, was it BC or IDP in 2015 and which country?

21. I think answer was something like "university student" I am not sure, this is for sure it is not for "public"

according to one of the ex-IELTS examiners I checked my writing with, you may lose points in Task achievement. I made the same mistake once. But if the other things, like number of words, purpose of the letter, coverage of all 3 bullet points, are ok, then u might be ok. Lets hope for the better
