IELTS issue.....Please suggest seniors...!!!

Hi Guys,

CIC has my original IELTS as I sent it in a Federal Skilled Worker application. Now, FSW application supports a copy of IELTS if original is already with them when applying second time but I did not find anything related to to this in the instructions guide for CEC. can any senior member suggest what could be done in this situation? should i try sending my CEC application with the IELTS copy, explaining that CIC hold my original certificate. BTW, my IELTS are valid till 30th July, 2013.

Yes, you should send a copy of the report, a letter explaining that CIC already has your original copy, and the case # of your FSW application to CIC. Basically, follow CIC's guidelines. It applies to all immigration applications, not just FSW.

I have read in other threads in this forum, one could get upto 3 copies (or may be 5?) of the IELTS scores from the examiniation body. Perhaps you should try that as well.

You can only have the additional reports sent to institutions (like universities). An individual can only get ONE report for personal record.

Yeah, I have already sent the request to get another copy of IELTS certificate but they have clearly mentioned "The candidate will receive only ONE original TRF and can request to send upto 5 institutions". I am in dilema coz some people say they could issue and some say they wont. Till now, its more than a week and I did not get any acknowedgement of my request from the centre, so I am assuming they wont send me. But, I wait for another week or so, and if I wont recieve it, I ll attach a copy of my IELTS score card with the PR application explaning them the whole situation.

I am in finall semester (8th) of bachelor of engineering from computer science branch with 66 percent aggregate.i want to apply to canadian universities for doing masters related to my field.can anyone help me to suggest the good universities of canada?? can i apply without ielts score?/ iam preparing for ielts exam and my test date is 27 april 2013! what to do?? can i get admission in september batch.reply
