Dear,

your kind help needed in this case. I have already applied for Express Entry and I am getting LMIA very soon. But my IELTS is getting expired in this week. Is this necessary or mandatory that i have to have IELTS written once again?

Thanks + Regards,

47. How long are language test and Education Credential Assessment (ECA) results valid for?

Language test results are valid for 2 years. They must be valid at the time an application for permanent residence under Express Entry is submitted.

Check out this website...

Yes it is mandatory to have English language proficiency till you get ITA from CIC. If your score is getting expired, please don't waste your time and apply for exam immediately.

IELTS per se isn't but yes one of the prescribed test of proficiency in English, be it IELTS or CELPIP is.

It is better you book soon and write IELTS/CELPIP as i think it needs to be valid until the date you upload all your documents once you get ITA.
