Salam,
this is for all, who have appeared or about to appear in Pakistan for IELTS, under either AEO, or BC. I recently appeared, where i got a band of 6.5, not enough, under British Council. Now i am appearing under AEO. I am not satisfied, with either the two centres, so are my colleagues. The results do es not justify our true performance at all, where everyone expect a band of 7.5, he/she literally falls in 6.5 or 6. Kindly share your opinion and experience..

Regards,

Syed Mustafa.

this is not true. i done my ielts from aeo islamabad and result was exactly the same i expected. you can't challenge the listening / reading part anyway. in speaking i got 8.0 and in writing i got 7.5 i was expecting the same. i can't expect no more.

improve your speaking / writng skills especillay in writing part learn how to write essay / letter and use good vocabulary.

Ielts is standard everywhere in the world my friend. Sometimes you may find unexpected result. But the problem is at your end not their. The only difference between AEO & BC is the headphone facility in listening section. BC provides and AEO not. Otherwise both are same. If you have any doubt you can request to re-check your test. Best is you should practice more & re-appear.

Hi

Its on your english skills not on centre, if you are not scoring as you expect then it means you are over rating your skills and you need to improve it.

Cheers

I don't believe there is any difference in both (AEO and BC) except for the headphones part. By the way having headphones gives you some advantage in a way.

I took the british council test and got overall 7.5. May be you need to focus on time management for different sections.

Really, i find little room to improve my English repertoire in each module.....

Specially, the reading module, when it comes to general training. In-spite of having a euphoric effect after the reading module, still we achieve little as 6.
